A single vehicle crash at the 700 block of 9th Street Sunday night results in serious injuries and an arrest. Rockford Police say a northbound Jeep lost control near the Railroad Avenue Viaduct. Police say the Jeep then struck a curb, rolled over through an empty lot and into Keith Creek. Police say a 29 year old Rockford man who was a passenger was ejected from the vehicle. He's being treated for critical injuries. The driver, 31 year old Kenny Harris  of Rockford, is charged with Reckless Driving, Aggravated DUI Involving Great Bodily Harm, Driving with a Revoked License, and No Proof of Insurance. a 27 year old Rockford woman was also a passenger in the Jeep and suffered non life threatening injuries. Police say the 700 to 1000 blocks of 9th Street remain closed until further notice.
