Rockford Police make a couple of drug busts. Police say they executed a search warrant this week at 122 Bayliss where they confiscated heroin and some cash. 20 year old Brashawn Barfield was taken into custody. Police say Barfield is on parole for attempted armed robbery with a firearm.  Police investigated reports of cocaine being sold at the 1400 block of Stoney Creek Way. 25 year old Scottie B. Valentine Jr. and his 22 year old brother Marktavis were both taken into custody. Police say they confiscated over 540 grams of cocaine and other items associated with drug trafficing. Police say they also seized a pair of stolen handguns.
