A Concealed Carry Bill was introduced in Springfield Tuesday. State Representative Brandon Phillips is behind the proposal which seeks to allow people to carry loaded or unloaded guns in their vehicles. They would not be allowed to carry guns in courthouses, schools, casinos, college campuses, college or professional sports arenas, mental health facilities, or public libraries. Anyone seeking a permit to carry would have to be at least 21 years old, have a valid Firearm Owners Identification Card, and have certified firearms training.
