The Chicago-Rockford International Airport experienced significant growth in passenger traffic in 2012.  210,406 passengers flew into or out of RFD last year. That's up 10.3 percent compared to 2011 figures. RFD Director Mike Dunn says the Airport is returning to its pre-recession passenger levels. Dunn looks ahead with optimism...noting Apple Vacations launches service to Montego Bay, Jamaica on Monday and Allegiant begins service to the Fort Myers, Florida area on February 14th. Airport officials say 2012 was the second busiest year for passenger traffic in RFD history.
