Boone County Sheriff's Police say a man is dead after crashing his car while fleeing to avoid police. Boone County authorities say officers tried to stop a suspect vehicle near Circle Drive and Squaw Prairie late Sunday night. Police say the car didn't stop and crashed near Olson Road and Spring Creek Road. Police say the driver was ejected from the vehicle and died from his injuries. The man's name hasn't been released yet. It's unclear why police attempted to stop the car in the first place.
