The Winnebago County Coroners Office has released the names of the two women killed in a single vehicle crash early Saturday morning. The Coroners Office identifies the deceased as 20 year old Shakiyla Ellis and 23 year old Desiree Mannery...both of Rockford. Police say the two women were passengers in a car that was traveling south at the 900 block of South Winnebago Street when it left the roadway and struck a tree. Ellis and Mannery were pronounced dead at the scene. The female driver was extracated from the wreckage and is hospitalized. Her name hasn't been released yet. Authorities have not yet determined if the crash was alcohol related.
