A developing story: Winnebago County Coroner Sue Fiduccia says a person with a gun is inside the basement of the Public Safety Building. Fiduccia says the SWAT Team has responded and has the man isolated in the basement. Rockford Police say the Courthouse and the Public Safety Building are open again after being temporarily evacuated. The Rockford Police Shift Commander says he is not authorized to release any additional information. We are awaiting a statement or news release from Rockford Police Chief Chet Epperson's Office.
