Rockford Police investigate an overnight shooting on the city's west side. Police say a man was shot in the shoulder as he got into a parked car at the 1000 block of North Sunset Avenue shortly before 12:30 this morning. Police say someone in a passing vehicle opened fire. The victim's injuries are described as non life threatening. So far...no arrests.
