An adult and two children are threatened at gunpoint during a home invasion on Rockford's northwest side. Police say it happened Tuesday night at an apartment at the 29-hundred block of Halsted Road. Police say four suspects wearing masks entered an apartment and demanded money. Police say three of the suspects were armed with handguns. Police say a male resident and two children...ages 7 and 4...were ordered to the floor. Police say the suspects threatened to shoot the children as they demanded money. Police say the suspects fled on foot after they obtained some money. The four suspects are described by police as black males wearing dark clothing and masks. No one was hurt during the home invasion.
