The Florida State Seminoles knocked off Northern Illinois in the Orange Bowl Tuesday night 31-10. Florida State's Lonnie Pryor rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on just five carries. Huskies Quarterback Jordan Lynch threw for 176 yards and a touchdown...but was also intercepted once. Lynch also rushed for 44 yards. NIU finishes its season with 12 victories and 2 defeats. In other New Year's Day Bowl action...Northwestern beat Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl 34-20. Stanford beat Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl 20-14.
