Rockford Police say two people were robbed Thursday night during a drug deal gone bad on the city's southeast side. Police say a man and a woman arranged to meet an individual at the 3100 block of Jacqueline Drive for what police say was supposed to be a drug transaction. Police say when the couple arrived, several suspects with guns approached the couple's car and robbed them. Police say the suspects then fled on foot. The female victim, Sara Shaner of Belvidere, was struck in the face with a handgun. Police say Shaner brought a two year old child with her. Shaner is charged with Child Endangerment.
