Rockford Police have arrested two people who were wanted in a November 16th home invasion.

Police say officers responded to 1219 Burton Street where they found a victim shot in the leg by the suspects who were armed with firearms. A dog inside the residence was shot and killed by the suspects.

Police have since arrested 28 year old Nicholas M. Bryant and 24 year old Mechos C. Freeman. They are charged with three counts each of home invasion, aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
