Fire Tuesday evening destroyed  the Burger King restaurant at 325 Southtowne Drive in Belvidere. No one was injured but the building is being called a total loss. Belvidere Fire Chief David Worrell says the fire may have started in vents above a restaurant grill.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
