Rockford Police investigate a strong armed robbery Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of Horace Avenue and Mulberry Street. Police say a teenage boy walking in the area was confronted by a suspect who asked for his cellphone charger. When the teen refused, police say the suspect grabbed him, pushed him down, and punched him. Police describe the suspect as a black male, 16 to 17 years old, with a medium build. Police say the suspect was wearing black pants and an orange and white striped shirt.
