The November 4th single car crash at the 4400 block of Center Terrace has claimed another life. The Winnebago County Coroners Office says 26 year old C.L. Phillips died from blunt force trauma to his head. Phillips had been intensive care at Swedish American Health System since the crash and was taken off of life support last Sunday. Another man, 22 year old Antonio Smart, also died from injuries suffered in the crash on Center Terrace. A few minutes before the crash, Smart was shot during a large fight outside the San Jose Nightclub on East State Street. The Coroners Office says  C.L. Phillips was also involved in the incident at the San Jose Nightclub.
