Rockford Police are investigating an armed robbery to a citizen early this morning at the 1200 block of South Court Street. Police say a female was walking home shortly after 1 o'clock this morning when a dark blue Ford SUV with tinted windows pulled up. A passenger got out of the vehicle and pointed a gun at the female. The suspect stole the victim's cellphone. The suspect is described as a 23 year old black male, 5'6, and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black ski cap.
