Rockford Police make a drug bust on the city's southwest side. Policxe say they detained three people Wednesday afternoon at Winnebago and Montague Streets after two of the individuals were caught with hypodermic syringes. Police say they conducted a followup investigation at a residence at the 1200 block of South Court Street and confiscated 14 grams of heroin and a firearm. 62 year old Mickey Hoarde Junior is charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. 27 year old Christopher Culbert of Rockford and 25 year old Rockwood Johnson of Rockton are charged with attempt to possess heroin and possession of a hypodermic syringe.
