The Rockford School Board is looking at placing a referendum on the November ballot that would help fund a ten year schools repair plan. School District officials say the total cost of renovating and possibly building new schools is $277 million dollars. School Board Member Tim Rollins says the District should be able to pay for the bond issue without raising taxes. The School Board will vote August 14th whether to place a referendum on the Fall ballot.
