The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has launched an ad campaign in Rockord in an attempt to encourage the public to report firearm related crimes.

The goal of the campaign is to increase citizen involvement in making communities safer and reminding the public that they can report gun crime anonymously. Citizens may also be eligible for monetary awards in the event the information leads to a successful prosecution.

The billboard contains the phone number 1-800-ATF-GUNS which can be used to report gun crimes 24 hours a day, and persons can remain anonymous.
